Information and FAQs
Where we carry out works to make your home retain as much heat as possible it is vital that we include works that help the property circulate and dispel warm humid air which has the potential to cause mould issues.
Door undercuts require us creating a small gap under the bottom of the door, about the thickness of a match box, to help air circulate from room to room.
This will not create any noticeable drafts and will not affect the warmth of the room.
The gap will be no bigger than the width of a standard pencil. This will allow air to circulate between rooms.
The gap is not large enough to cause a noticeable draught or affect room warmth.
