We also have an Audit and Assurance Committee which operates on these terms of reference and a People and Culture Committee which operates on these terms of reference.
Compliance with consumer standards
We have joint leads for this responsibility:
- Chief Investment Officer focuses on the safety and quality standard
- Chief Customer and Communities Officer focuses on transparency, influence and accountability, tenancy, and neighbourhood and community.
Customers sit on our scrutiny group to review our services in line with our commitment to co-regulation.

Jamie Curtis, Associate Executive Director Property
I lead the organisation’s property services functions such as repairs and maintenance, property investment, compliance to keep people safe, and our Westward Property Services (WPS) team. Since joining Westward in 2015, I have progressed through a range of property leadership roles, bringing together operational insight, asset management experience, and a proficiency of housing services.
Previously I spent 15 years at the London Borough of Havering, where I worked as a project manager delivering capital investment programmes and bespoke large-scale investment projects. During that time, I also gained experience in the housing management and human resources which gave me a broad understanding of people, customers and the communities we support.
