About the role

The quality assurance group helps make sure that Westward's services are good quality, good value for money, and meet what residents need.

In this role, you’ll work alongside Westward colleagues to look at bids (tenders) from different contractors and suppliers, check how good they are and help choose the ones that will provide services for the landlord.

Your own experiences and views as a customer will be important in shaping decisions that affect homes, neighbourhoods, and communities.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Join meetings where we discuss and review services
  • Help to look at, evaluate and choose the companies we work with
  • Share your views and experiences as a customer to shape decisions
  • Travel to different office locations when needed
  • Take part in training and build your knowledge along the way

Requirements

Applicants must hold a full, valid  driving licence, as the role involves travelling between office locations. An interest in improving housing and landlord services is essential, along with the confidence to share views and ask questions in a group environment. Members will need to be reliable and committed to attending meetings and training sessions. No previous experience in procurement is required, as full training will be provided.

Training and support

You’ll receive a half-day training session before you start, followed by refresher training to help you continue learning as you go. Our team will also be there to support and guide you throughout your time in the role, so you feel confident every step of the way.
