Customer scrutiny group spring blog

Spring isn’t just around the corner; it looks like it has arrived. Daffodils are in bloom, lambs are in the fields, there are new beginnings everywhere.
For the customer scrutiny group, April will see us beginning to look at Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs). The aim of the TSMs is to see how well a social housing landlord is doing.
From 1st April 2023 the Regulator of Social Housing will require all social housing landlords to collect information on 22 TSMs, covering complaints, neighbourhood, anti-social behaviour, repairs and safety. Ten of these will be measured by landlords directly, and 12 will be measured by landlords carrying out tenant perception surveys.
We have agreed to check how Westward will be gathering the information and how they will make sure that customers have access to the findings. The results will need to be monitored regularly. So, we are looking to put together a group of customers to support us and provide us with quarterly inspection results. Details will follow soon.
Also, last month we met up with group member Janine, to talk about her experience being a scrutiny group member and to talk about our recent cost of living review. Take a look at the videos below.
If you fancy doing something new this spring and would like to be part of a group that is helping to make real change for customers at Westward, please visit this webpage and fill out the form.
