We are seeking a new chair of the board
As part of our succession plan, Westward Housing is seeking a new Chair who is committed to the social housing sector and the provision of safe, well-maintained, quality homes for those who need them most.
Westward owns and manages more than 7,500 homes across Devon and Cornwall and delivers a range of contracted support services to around 1,000 people, making us one of the leading affordable housing providers in the south west.

We are looking for someone with:

senior leadership experience gained at board level

a track record of embedding excellence in governance

insight into regulatory requirements and knowledge of an effective framework for assurance

a deep understanding of how to work with colleagues in a collaborative style

ability to liaise with customers and stakeholders including councillors and MPs as well as being an ambassador for Westward
