2023 has certainly started at a pace for our customer scrutiny group

In 2021 we completed our first ever review of services at Westward - Ground’s Maintenance. We made several recommendations, including being involved in future tenders for this work. The time is now here. The start of 2023 has seen us scoring the tenders that have come in and taking part in the interviews for possible new grounds maintenance contractors.
We have also been very busy finalising our review of voids (empty homes) and preparing for our next project. This will be a fact finding assessment of how Westward will gather the information required for the Housing Regulator’s TSMs (Tenant Satisfaction Measures). TSM’s are intended to make landlords’ performance more visible to tenants, and help tenants hold their landlords to account.
Not everything is work though, in December most of the group finally managed to meet up in person - only the second time since we began in 2021.
