Customer voice is vital.
The customer scrutiny group comprises customers from all backgrounds who give up their time to review, scrutinise and monitor our customer-facing services. They identify which services to scrutinise and where they can suggest improvements.

Since the introduction of Awaab’s Law, which now requires social housing landlords to fix damp and mould issues to strict deadlines or rehouse tenants in safe accommodation; the number of reports of damp and mould in Westward properties has increased enormously.
The group wanted to know what information and support was available for customers, how easy it is to report dump and mould of the impact the cost-of-living crisis may have had on customers’ ability to heat their homes appropriately.
