Our governance structure includes a board of non-executive and executive board members. The board provides leadership, direction, support and challenge. Our executive team is responsible for delivering services.

We also have an Audit and Assurance Committee which operates on these terms of reference and a Remuneration and Membership Committee which operates on these terms of reference.

Customers sit on our scrutiny group to review our services in line with our commitment to co-regulation.

Heikki Doyle, Audit Committee member

Heikki Doyle, Audit Committee member

Heikki is an experienced senior internal audit leader, having held senior roles at major insurance groups, including as a chief audit executive for Police Mutual, a diverse financial services group as well as 10 years at Zurich Insurance Group in a number of senior audit roles, including 5 years in Switzerland. Now at Grant Thornton, Heikki focusses on providing internal audit quality assurance and methodology enhancement advice to UK financial services clients.

He has also been an independent committee member of the Livv Housing Group audit and risk committee since 2020 and served as an independent member of the audit and risk assurance committee for Sandwell Metropolitan Council.

He now looks forward to bringing his skills, corporate knowledge as well as his financial services and audit committee experience to provide insight, new ideas and continuously improve corporate governance at Westward.
