Westward's new chief executive named
We are delighted to name Stephen Lodge as Westward’s chief executive to succeed Barbara Shaw in October 2024. As you would expect, this follows a rigorous assessment process which included customers from the Westward scrutiny group, executive team and board members.
Stephen is well known in the south west region and to members of Advantage South West (ASW) procurement group. He has 32 years of experience in the housing sector. Stephen currently works at Abri as an executive director of development and strategic asset management, alongside currently supporting Octavia Housing.
In the next six months before he takes up his post, you may spot Stephen at occasional events when time from his current role permits. He lives in the south west and volunteers with Samaritans.
He is looking forward to seeing our homes, meeting you – our customers, as well as working with Westward’s employees and stakeholders.
His priority is to continue to ensure that Westward remains a successful organisation which delivers great services to its customers, provides good quality homes and is a place where colleagues can thrive.
