Westward Summer Roadshow | Bringing our team to you

This summer, to mark our 60th anniversary, we hit the road across Devon and Cornwall to connect directly with our customers. This roadshow gave us the chance to bring our team right to some of your doorsteps.

Over the course of the summer a selection of our colleagues, including surveyors, housing officers, customer liaison coordinators and board members, visited multiple estates setting up a welcoming space where customers could talk to us face-to-face.

The roadshows provided an opportunity for customers to bring forward questions, ideas, and concerns. Customers spoke to our skilled teams about a wide range of topics, including:

  • repairs and improvements
  • tenancy support
  • feedback on homes and neighbourhoods.

One of the biggest highlights was having our surveyors right there on site. Customers were able to point out issues or talk through concerns and our surveyors headed straight to their homes to take a look. Being able to tackle repairs and queries on the spot made a real difference.

By spending time engaging with customers in our communities, we gained invaluable insights, gained greater understanding and built stronger relationships - there is nothing better than spending time in our communities engaging with our customers. Our 60th anniversary has given us an opportunity to reflect on our history, but also to look ahead and with your support we are excited for the future.
