We kicked off our summer events run with a fantastic day at the Freedom Fields Community Festival in Plymouth on Saturday. We enjoyed the glorious sunshine and a warm welcome from the local community.

Freedom Fields Festival is a popular community event held in one of Plymouth’s well-loved green spaces. The festival brings together residents, local organisations and community groups for a day of family-friendly activities, entertainment, and engagement. It celebrates diversity and inclusivity, creating a space where people from all backgrounds can come together, feel welcome and connect with each other.

Our team was out in full force, proudly showcasing our new gazebo, which made its debut appearance and proved to be a great success.

It was lovely to meet so many people throughout the day, including many of our customers. Visitors enjoyed getting involved in our activities, from taking part in our ‘count the sweets’ competition to getting creative at our colouring station and sharing their thoughts on our ‘What does home mean to you?’ board. We really appreciated everyone who took the time to stop by and chat with us.

The day was a great opportunity to have meaningful conversations and continue building strong relationships within the community in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
