Damp and mould communication | CLOSED

The aim of the consultation was:

  • To establish what customers already knew about the process for dealing with damp and mould
  • What information they currently receive once a report has been made
  • What information is available to customers on our website
  • What information, and in what format, should be used in future

There were two surveys, one for people who had already reported a damp and mould concerns, and one for those who have never reported damp and mould.

Most people said that they would expect a fast response to any report, including a home visit, and clear advice about how to prevent damp and mould from reappearing.

A report based on the survey findings is now with our property services team and will be used to design future communications and information given to customers.

What is coming up?

Here are some details on what is coming up and what subjects we will be asking for your views on. If you are interested in any of the below, sign up to Our Voice using the form above.

  • Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)

We will be asking customers who have ASHP in their homes to tell us how satisfied they are with the system. What challenges they may have faced, what they really like about the system and if there are any improvements or features, they would like to see in ASHP systems.

  • Anti-Social Behaviour Policy (ASB)

Our ASB policy is due for review later this year and we would like you to tell us how you feel about our current policy. Have we missed anything out that you think should be included? Can we do something better?

We will be going out to anyone who has reported ASB in the last 12 months and asking for their opinions.

  • Hate Crime Policy

This is due for review in December 2025. It will be an opportunity for customers to comment on proposed changes to the new policy.

Residents’ associations

If you’d like to start a tenant group, we can help to recruit and get the ball rolling and make sure the right terms of reference and governance are in place.

We’ll work to understand any problems and play our part in identifying solutions.
