A free two day course on how to use the computer from setting up an email account to finding your way around the internet in Launceston on 7th & 8th October 2014.
The course is to be run over 2 days so you can really get a feel, for how the computer works.
Westward will cover all travel costs and childcare if you book onto the course..

2 Day IT Training Course for Beginners - Torquay
IT and the the Internet - the nuts and bolts
If you would like to learn how to use a computer, set up an email account and find your way around the web, then is the training course for you! It's free for Westward residents, including lunch, and support for childcare/carer's costs for you to attend.
When: 2 and 9 October (attend both days)

Westward’s supported scheme ‘Kidz R Us’ after-school club in Greenbank has won a top Plymouth voluntary sector award at a ceremony on September 24.

Social enterprise Jigsaw in Barnstaple is now selling essential new white goods such as washing machines, cookers, fridges and freezers at near cost price as an alternative to rent to own retail companies.
The first properties at a housing development near Liskeard, Cornwall, have been sold for new developer Horizon Homes, in a venture which will see profits going to help fund affordable homes in the south west.
A former factory site, derelict for the last four years has been demolished to make way for a new Westward affordable housing development which will provide 19 homes for local people.
