We have exciting new opportunities to be part of a developing support service in Torbay for people with Learning Disabilities who are purchasing personalised support through the use of individual payments. The hours to be worked will vary and depend upon the individual needs of the people being supported.
You will play a key role in working alongside the Support, Time and Recovery (STAR) worker ensuring a flexible and personalised service enabling people to live well and as independently as possible in the community.
You will have a knowledge of the recovery approach, which is a key feature of a strength based, solution- and outcomes-focused approach to our work across all our services.
You will also have experience of developing Safety Plans, Needs Assessments and Support Plans that capture people’s aspirations and enable people to choose how their support needs are met.
