Support, Time and Recovery (STAR) Worker - Based in Torbay  Learning Disability Support Service 

Salary £16,125 per annum (full-time equivalent) 
Variable hours to be worked flexibly

We have exciting new opportunities to be part of a developing support service in Torbay for people with Learning Disabilities who are purchasing personalised support through the use of individual payments.  The hours to be worked will vary and depend upon the individual needs of the people being supported.

 You will work with the Support Worker, other team members and external agencies to provide a holistic, outcomes focussed service that recognises the individual journey of the people we work with.

By providing quality one to one support you will encourage, inspire, motivate and assist people to meet the outcomes and goals as set out in their support plan.

You will have experience of working with people, either in a paid or voluntary capacity and an understanding of the difficulties facing disadvantaged people.
